Pangbourne Village Fete is a fun packed Guinness World Record Fete taking place this year on 8 June from midday. This is a great afternoon with something for all ages. This year you can expect; circus skills, a fun dog show, a climbing wall, dragon boat racing, tug of war, egg throwing, a bouncy castle, live music, food and drink stalls. and loads of stalls and fun activities.

Sunday 9 June 2019 is Bubble Rush Reading at Prospect Park, raising money for Helen and Douglas House. Take part in the frothy 5k family fun run, with entry open to all ages it’s up to you whether you run, walk, dance or toddle your way around the course. Whichever you choose you’ll burst your way through 4 stations with cannons pumping bubbles up to 4 feet high and get covered from head to toe in colourful foamy bubbles! This promises to be a great fun family day out.

This Sunday is interactive storytelling in the magical story den at Norden Farm. Join in or unwind in the café bar with a coffee and the Sunday papers, while your little ones get involved in telling stories from all over the world. Suitable for children 4 – 7 years. Toy Box Explorers Show at The Lookout Discovery Centre, Bracknell

6 April – 7 July 2019

This fun show looks at the science behind toys! Come and help the presenter play with the toys and

Shows run at the weekends and during the school holiday at 11.00am, midday, 2.00pm and 3.15pm. The show costs £1.95 per person on top of your admission fee to The Lookout. Shows are suitable for primary school aged children and don’t need to be booked in advance, just buy your tickets from reception when you arrive.

Queen Victoria’s Sketchbook Family Activities at Windsor Castle

Queen Victoria was a keen amateur artist throughout her life, often reaching for her sketchbook to capture a likeness of people close to her. Following Victoria’s lead, come and make a miniature portrait of someone close to you.

Activities are free with standard entry to the Castle. Remember, if you have a RBWM Advantage Card, admission to the Castle is free too.

The annual Summer Fete at Victoria Recreation Ground in Tilehurst will take place this Saturday 8 June. The fun will start at 11.00am and is set to finish at 4.00pm. This promises to be a fun day out for all the family. There will be plenty of entertainment, already confirmed are gymnasts, singers, dancers, a local theatre group, and a range of food and drink stalls. There will also be a fun dog show which you can enter your pooch into, so this really is an afternoon for the whole family!

World Horse Trail, Windsor Town Centre

Now until 31 July 2019

World Horse Trail windsor berkshire 2019

Bring the children into Windsor Town Centre to find the 10 unique horse statues around town until 31 July 2019 in the World Horse Trail. All you need to do is pick up a location map from Royal Windsor Information Centre or Windsor and Royal Borough Museum and see if you can find all ten! Each horse is unique and has their own story and design, painted by patrons and supporters of World Horse Welfare including Sara Cox and Martin Clunes. The trail is aimed at highlighting the World Horse Welfare’s work.

Learn basic bushcraft skills including fire lighting, shelter building, foraging and campfire cooking. Come prepared to get muddy and be outside whatever the weather. We recommend long trousers and closed toed shoes whatever the weather as you will be kneeling down and walking through long grass.
