Carters Steam Fair at Pinkneys Green

The world’s greatest vintage fun fair is in Maidenhead this weekend for their most exciting event of the year the ‘Steam Spectacular’ with 5 vintage steam engines, all in full steam powering the rides – a unique and incredible sight! Fun for all the family, there’s free entry, a free award-winning firework display to music from The Greatest Showman, a vintage vehicle road run and beautiful vintage rides and attractions for all ages.

Bring the family to Pinkneys Green (SL6 5DS) in Maidenhead this weekend. The fair will be open Saturday 11 from midday to 11.00pm and Sunday 12 May from midday to 9.00pm. Fireworks will take place about 9.00pm on Saturday. To find out more and purchase your ride tokens in advance, click here.

Milkshake Live – Milkshake Monkey’s Musical is coming to The Hexagon Reading, Berkshire, on Saturday 11 May 2019.

Milkshake Monkey can’t wait to put on a spectacular new musical for you all! But when stage fright hits, his favourite Milkshake friends come to help, creating the most dazzling show you have ever seen! Starring Fireman Sam, Noddy, Shimmer & Shine, Digby Dragon, Wissper, Nella the Princess Knight and Floogals, alongside two Milkshake Presenters, this brand-new show has plenty of laughter, audience interaction and great fun to get everyone up on their feet! It’s a family show not to be missed!

Thatcham Roller Disco may 2019 berkshire

Thatcham Roller Disco is returning on Saturday 11 May 2019 at the Kennet Leisure Centre. Resolution Active will again be on hand providing skates, music and help for those new to skating. The skating runs from 5.00 – 7.45pm and is split in to two sessions; 5.00 – 6.15 & 6.30 – 7.45. Admission is £5 per skater, including skate hire. Tickets can be ordered online in advance, or if you buy them on the door please note this is cash only and will be £6.00.

World Horse Trail, Windsor Town Centre

Now until 31 July 2019

World Horse Trail windsor berkshire 2019

Bring the children into Windsor Town Centre to find the 10 unique horse statues around town until 31 July 2019 in the World Horse Trail. All you need to do is pick up a location map from Royal Windsor Information Centre or Windsor and Royal Borough Museum and see if you can find all ten! Each horse is unique and has their own story and design, painted by patrons and supporters of World Horse Welfare including Sara Cox and Martin Clunes. The trail is aimed at highlighting the World Horse Welfare’s work.

Victoria and Albert 500 at Windsor Castle

This May marks exactly 200 years since Queen Victoria’s birthday. Bring the children down for a host of celebratory activities, including a sneak preview of some of the exciting attractions lined up for the family festival on 14 September. Children can create a colourful collage of Queen Victoria or Prince Albert in an art workshop.

Activities are free with standard entry to the Castle. Remember, if you have a RBWM Advantage Card, admission to the Castle is free too.

Toy Box Explorers Show at The Lookout Discovery Centre, Bracknell

This fun show looks at the science behind toys! Come and help the presenter play with the toys and

Shows run at the weekends and during the school holiday at 11.00am, midday, 2.00pm and 3.15pm. The show costs £1.95 per person on top of your admission fee to The Lookout. Shows are suitable for primary school aged children and don’t need to be booked in advance, just buy your tickets from reception when you arrive.
