World Book Day is a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and most importantly it’s a celebration of reading. Come to Parkway Shopping Centre on 9 March for a day filled with spellbinding storytelling at Waterstones in celebration of World Book Day. All entrants will receive a free child’s treat and a book courtesy of Parkway!

Join the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in a struggle between the forces of good and evil. Hear the Orchestra perform exhilarating pieces that celebrate your favourite adventurers, daredevils and scoundrels, with music from legendary stories like Star Wars, Romeo and Juliet and Jurassic Park, alongside classical favourites like ‘Danse Macabre’ and ‘In the Hall of the Mountain King’. The perfect introduction to classical music for children aged 5-11 and their families. Running time is approx. 1 hour 15 minutes including an interval. Ticket prices from £9.00.

Enter the magical world of the ocean as we take a journey through the wonders of the deep. Discover the creatures that live there and help protect them through different challenges. Can you help us save our seas? Shows run at the weekends and during the February Half Term school holiday at 11.00am, midday, 2.00pm and 3.15pm. The show costs £1.95 per person on top of your admission fee to The Lookout. Shows are suitable for primary school aged children and don’t need to be booked in advance, just buy your tickets from reception when you arrive.
