The Moomins head to Maidenhead this festive season to take to the stage at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts’ family Christmas Show, The Fir Tree.
Author and Illustrator Tove Jansson’s much-loved story from Tales in Moominvalley, will run from Tuesday 20 November until Sunday 30 December 2018. Suitable for all audiences ages 3 years and upwards.
The Fir Tree is an adventure set in the idyllic and peaceful Moominvalley The show features live puppetry and music. It is a gloriously unselfish take on Christmas.
The Moomin family was hibernating in the drawing room as they were known to do. They had been sleeping for a few months already and were going to keep it up until spring… Now all at once a cold draught disturbed Moomintroll’s dreams. And someone was pulling at his quilt and shouting that he was tired and Christmas was coming.
With free onsite parking, free WiFi and a family-friendly café bar, it’s the perfect place for a Christmas treat for children and their grown-ups.
Presented by Norden Farm, The Ding Foundation, Bernadette Russell and Steve Tiplady.
