The Carnival of the Animals Lantern Parade, Maidenhead

Saturday 9 December 2017

Norden Farm’s The Carnival of the Animals Lantern Parade will take place on Saturday 9 December, starting outside the Town Hall in Maidenhead. This hugely popular annual event is free to join in and always great fun for all the family. There will be entertainment and live music from the brilliant ‘4×4 Bhangra’ which will start at 4.30pm, with the parade departing from the town hall at 5.00pm.

Festival of Light, Newbury

Sunday 10 November 2017

Come along to the annual lantern procession, a stunning winter event that brings the community together to celebrate the festive season.

Join in or just admire and soak up the atmosphere as the candle-lit procession travels along Northbrook Street to the Market Place. Meet from 4.00pm to take part or 4.30pm to watch. There will be live music from Beatroots and Tankata Drummers during the procession. Stay on after to enjoy headliners Faith i Branko and other foodie festivities in the market place.

Cookham Christmas Street Fayre

Sunday 10 December 2017

Join us for an afternoon of festive fun as we launch Christmas in Cookham. Enjoy seasonal treats, visit Santa and browse our Christmas stalls. You can also indulge in the Christmas markets and make merry with the mulled wine. The fayre runs from midday – 4.00pm on Cookham High Street. For more information, click here.

Miki, Norden Farm Centre for the Arts, Maidenhead

This Winter don’t miss the beautiful story of Miki. The theatre show will run from Tuesday 21 November – Saturday 30 December 2017, and you can book your tickets now.

Miki, Polar Bear and Penguin live in a very far away place. It’s an icy world where nothing ever grows. One midwinter eve, they make a wish and Miki embarks on a magical adventure in search of a star. Based on the book by Stephen Mackay, this is an inspiring story about friendship, courage and adventure. It features amazing underwater creatures, enchanting music and extraordinary puppetry.

Christmas at Windsor Castle

Why not pay a visit to Windsor Castle this weekend, following in the steps of Harry and Meghan!

Enter into the Christmas spirit when you visit Windsor Castle over this weekend by taking part in a variety of festive activities. There will be so much to see and do for all ages throughout the State Apartments and St George’s Chapel, including a pop-up pantomime, storytelling, Bach to Baby concerts for under 5s, performances from The Queen’s Six, carol singing, a festive floral display and decoration-making workshops and art activities.

Wilde Theatre, Bracknell – Beauty and the Beast Pantomime

With the success of Cinderella still ringing in the air, we are pleased announce our 2017 pantomime Beauty and the Beast! The bright and beautiful Belle encounters an enchanted castle in which a Beast who has been struck with a curse hides. Despite her fears, she eventually befriends the castle’s magical staff and learns to look beyond the beast’s hideous exterior, allowing her to recognise the kind heart and soul of the prince who is trapped behind the hex.

St Luke’s Church Christmas Tree Festival, Maidenhead

Friday 8 – Sunday 10 December sees the 7th annual Christmas Tree Festival at St Luke’s Church in Maidenhead. Local businesses, voluntary groups and churches, as well as families and charities will each be sponsoring and decorating a real Christmas Tree following a theme of their own choice.  Visitors to the festival will be invited to vote for their favourite tree by putting money in a pot.  All the money raised from voting will go to the PLANETS, a charity based at Southampton General Hospital, dedicated to defeating Pancreas Liver And NeuroEndocrine Tumours (NETs), with other funds raised during the festival weekend being used for the work of St. Luke’s Church.

The Theatre Royal, Windsor – Sleeping Beauty Pantomime

Christmas at Oaktree Garden Centre near Bracknell is a very special time for all. Come and visit and see our amazing Christmas display, walk through the Christmas Wonderland, full of lit trees and Christmas scenes. Breakfast or Tea with Father Christmas – Wyevale Garden Centre

From 18 November – 24 December, Christmas will be descending on Wyevale Garden Centres across Berkshire. Bring your little ones along and enjoy a delicious, freshly-prepared breakfast or tea! The whole family meets Santa, children decorate a festive biscuit and then choose their very own present to take home. Lego Christmas at Legoland Windsor Resort

Christmas Roller Skating and Tea with Santa, Bucklebury Farm

Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Mondays between 1 – 23 December 2017

A fantastic festive evening including the chance to skate and enjoy tea with Santa. Suitable for children aged approximately 4 -10 years. £20 per child and one accompanying adult goes free. Activities include: Festive face painting on arrival for all children, feed the donkeys in the festive farm yard lit with sparkling fairy lights, create your own Christmas tree decoration in our creative craft yurt, get your (roller) skates on to join Santa on the rink, decorate ginger bread over hot chocolate with Mrs Claus, afternoon tea with Santa (menu includes pizza, sandwiches and cake, and wrap up for carol singing and a ride home on the ‘polar express’.

Bouncy Baileys, Hare Hatch

Come along to Bouncy Baileys Party Room in Hare Hatch for their festive Christmas Capers! Children will meet Santa in his Grotto and receive a gift and a free glitter tattoo. They can also enjoy an hour’s play in the party room. Included in the price is unlimited hot chocolate, tea, coffee or squash. Santa’s Grotto will be open on Friday 8 December, Wednesday 20 December, Thursday 21 December and Friday 22 December. There are 5 sittings a day from 10.00am – 5.00pm. Tickets are £11.95 per child. Christmas Festival at Odds Farm

Daily from 25 November – 24 December, Christmas is back at Odds Farm, bigger, better and more magical than ever before!
