Junior Golf at Royal Ascot Golf Club
We are a friendly club, where children and young people will feel welcome and safe. We have a great course and practice field and we welcome young golfers of whatever standard. We encourage young people to come to Royal Ascot to enjoy the game of golf, and we are especially keen to bring in more junior girls and younger players. The club has achieved Golfmark which is a national scheme that identifies and recognises junior and beginner friendly facilities.

Michael O’Connor Golf Academy, Burnham
My golf academy offers junior group and individual lessons and is one of the best attended in Berkshire. I aim to make golf fun, easy and enjoyable for children. Group lessons take place every Saturday and during half-term and school holidays. I teach children of any age although for safety reasons 5 is the minimum age in the group lessons. I also provide clubs and balls for children who do not have their own. Classes take place in Burnham.

Free Saturday Morning Coaching – Every Saturday from 11.00am – midday on the driving range. There is no need to book, just turn up, buy a bucket of driving range balls and our professionals will spend time with every junior individually giving them tips and basic instruction to get them started playing in a relaxed informal environment.
Junior Academy Courses – Aimed at juniors under 15 years old, these lessons cover all areas using the driving range and golf course. The sessions are fun and informative, combining coaching with actual play – testing, reinforcing and developing the skills of each participant.
