Looking for something to do with the kiddies on a wet and dreary day? I’ve got an idea that will bowl you over <sigh>. Get yourselves down to Tenpin Bowling Maidenhead. They’ll love the little white and red shoes (you’ll have to grin and bear it on that one), and bowling brings out the inner child in everyone which makes for a perfect outing. We spent an amazing rainy afternoon down here, which mainly involved the kiddies loving the bowling and me ordering everything naughty on the menu. As they say… Bowling and a burger. Because bowling and broccoli would suck. I couldn’t agree more.
As well as the standard bowling you could really push excitement levels and book in for one of their Cosmic Bowling sessions. Think UV and lots of flashing lights. Away from the lanes you’ll find pool tables, Quasar (Uhhh teenage flashbacks…), an amusement arcade and table tennis.
There’s plenty of car parking but it’s pay and display so make sure you have some change.
