Bring the family along to Maidenhead and Bray Cricket Club on Sunday 29 April 2018, 11.00am – 3.00pm, for the Little Me Carnival. There will be fun for all ages on the day, including;

Fabulous Fashions & Easter Trail at Windsor Castle

Saturday 28 April 2018, 11.00am – 4.00pm

Bring the children to Windsor Castle this weekend to follow an Easter activity trail and take part in a workshop inspired by royal fashion throughout history. These activities are free with your standard entry ticket.

Newbury Artisan Market

Sunday 29 April 2018, 10.00am – 4.00pm

Newbury Artisan Market takes over the streets on the last Sunday of the month. Think quality produce, original art, designer crafts and sizzling street foods, all mixed in with family activities, music and more. The ‘Feast Street’ section will get your taste buds tingling with a mouth-watering selection of locally produced dishes. The designer-makers promise to fill your bags and homes with gifts and all manner of unique designs and vintage treasures. The food producers will fill your cupboards with ciders and sauces , breads and pastries, meats and sweet treats. And the Kids Corner will provide activities and entertainment for the little ones while you have a well deserved coffee.

Family Fun Day, Oaken Grove Park, Maidenhead

Sunday 29 April 2018, midday – 4.00pm

Head down to Oaken Grove Park in Maidenhead on Sunday 29 April for a fantastic family fun day. The fun will kick off at midday and finishes at 4.00pm. There will be entertainment for all the family with stalls, games, raffles and activities. You can expect; food and a bar, orbes, go karts, a bungee trampoline, small funfair rides and a bouncy castle. Plus special appearances from Elsa, Belle, Batman and a Storm Trooper. Phew!

Story Time Fun, Waterstones Broad Street Reading

Bring the children down to Waterstones Broad Street in Reading on Saturday 28 April for their Saturday Morning Story Time Fun session. The session starts at 10.30am and is suitable for children 0 – 5 years of age. This is a fun informal story time with some of your favourite picture books.

Pop Up Play Village, Tilehurst

Saturday 28 April 2018, 2.00 – 3.15pm

Pop Up Play Village is an exciting play experience for children who love to role play, and on Saturday 28 April it’s a special super hero themed play session in Tilehurst! There will be a super hero hunt and a free art studio craft which will be creating a super hero mask. Plus there will be super hero dressing up available for children to role play in character. Tickets are £6.50 per child, and adults and pre walkers go free with a paying child. Sibling tickets are £5.00 each. The session takes place at Purley Memorial Hall, Reading.

Traylens Funfair, Maidenhead

Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 April 2018

Come down to Town Moor, Blackamoor Lane, in Maidenhead this weekend for the incredible Traylens Funfair. There will be loads of rides, stalls, games, food and drink. Fun for all the family!

John Lewis & Parkway Charity BBQ, Newbury

Saturday 28 April, 11.00am – 4.00pm

This weekend John Lewis and the Parkway Shopping Centre in Newbury will be serving up some delicious barbequed food from local butchers, and you can learn how to be a BBQ master with the help of John Lewis (if you’re not already, of course!) Register before hand to enjoy a free hot dog / burger / veggie burger. Plus there will be drinks and face painting for the little ones!

Yucky You Show at The Lookout, Bracknell – last chance!

28 & 29 April 2018

This is your last weekend to catch the Yucky You Show. In this disgustingly entertaining live science show you can find out all sorts of things like:

  • why mucus is snot a bad thing
  • what happens to the food we eat
  • how long your hair can grow

Our shows run at the weekends and in Bracknell school holidays. Shows cost £1.95 per person, on top of your entry fee. You don’t need to pre-book tickets to our shows, just buy them from reception on the day. Show times are everyday at; 11.00am, midday, 2.00pm, 3:15pm.

Shows are suitable for Primary school age children. A good guide is whether a child can sit still for around 40 minutes, however our presenters are very good at tailoring the content to the show audience. Please note, all shows need at least 10 people to run.
