Teletubbies Live at the Hexagon Theatre Reading

21 & 22 April 2018

See the iconic, world-famous Teletubbies in their first ever theatre show created especially for your little ones. Join Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po in a show full of love and laughter as they explore the magical world of Teletubbyland. Look out for the Tubby Phone, Noo-noo and Sun Baby in a fun, bright and safe world which captures young children’s imaginations and encourages them to explore the world around them. Join in and enjoy beloved features from the TV series along with brand new songs.

Shows run on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 April at 10.00am and 1.00pm. Ticket prices from £18.00.

Carters Steam Fair at Woodford Park, Woodley

21 & 22 April 2018

Head down to Woodford Park in Woodley for all the fun of the fair this weekend. Running from 21 to 22 April 2018, Carters is an amazing experience run by a local family that’s been entertaining families in Berkshire for 40 years. The fair season may have just kicked off, but you can expect loads of fun from the World’s largest vintage travelling funfair.

The fair is free to get in to, and the rides operate on a token basis. You can buy tokens on the day at the fair, or online here now. You’ll also find plenty to fill tummies with food and drink vans, candy floss and sweets and treats. The fair will be open from 11.00am – 8.00pm.

Sunday Stories at Norden Farm, Maidenhead

Sunday 22 April 2018

Bring the kiddies to Norden Farm this weekend for interactive storytelling in the magical story den. Parents can join in or unwind in the café with a cuppa and the papers, while your little ones get involved in telling stories from all over the world. Suitable for children age 4 – 7 years. The session starts at 11.30am and last 45 minutes. £3.00 per child.

Fabulous Fashions & Easter Trail at Windsor Castle

Saturday 21 April 2018, 11.00am – 4.00pm

Bring the children to Windsor Castle this weekend to follow an Easter activity trail and take part in a workshop inspired by royal fashion throughout history. These activities are free with your standard entry ticket.

Kids Hour – Sphero Maze Challenge

Kids Hour is designed to spark imagination and creativity through fun, hands-on projects. Kids will explore coding with Sphero robots by programming simple movements, loops and more. Then they’ll design a maze and navigate their robot through the obstacles. Kids can bring their own iPad and Sphero Sprk+ robot, or we’ll provide them. Recommended for ages 6 – 12 years.

Kids Hour – Making Movies Together

This Kids Hour is dedicated to exploring creativity through movie making for both kids and parents. We’ll start with brainstorming ideas. Then kids will practice basic camera techniques and shoot footage using iPad Pro. They’ll finish by creating a professional movie trailer with iMovie. Kids can bring their iPad or we’ll bring one. Recommended for ages 6 – 12 years.

Kids Hour – Book Club

In this Kids Hour, we’ll be reading The Three Little Pigs on iBooks. We’ll celebrate the magic of storytelling through creativity and play. Kids will get hands-on with drawing characters and scenes, creating their own book cover and more using iPad Pro and Apple Pencil. They can bring their own iPad or we’ll provide one. Recommended for ages 4 – 10 years.

Yucky You Show at The Lookout, Bracknell

21 & 22 April 2018

In this disgustingly entertaining live science show you can find out all sorts of things like:

  • why mucus is snot a bad thing
  • what happens to the food we eat
  • how long your hair can grow

Our shows run at the weekends and in Bracknell school holidays. Shows cost £1.95 per person, on top of your entry fee. You don’t need to pre-book tickets to our shows, just buy them from reception on the day. Show times are everyday at; 11.00am, midday, 2.00pm, 3:15pm.

Shows are suitable for Primary school age children. A good guide is whether a child can sit still for around 40 minutes, however our presenters are very good at tailoring the content to the show audience. Please note, all shows need at least 10 people to run.
