Kids Baking Macarons and Learning French, Newbury

Saturday 17 March 2018, 9.00am – midday

This promises to be a fun and interactive workshop for children where they will learn to cook and learn some French all in one session! In the workshop children will learn the vocabulary for the ingredients and utensils needed to make macarons. They’ll practice colours and flavours, decorate some macarons and create a delicious filling. Best of all you can take home all your creations to enjoy later on.

Sessions last 1 hour and run from 9.00am and midday. Costs £5.83 per child. You’ll need to book in advance as spaces are limited.

Norden Farm Presents… Jump In Free Art Workshops, Nicholsons Shopping Centre, Maidenhead

Saturday 17 March 2018, 10.00am – 3.00pm

Drop in and join artists Raphaella Sapir and Maia Eden to create a hive of creativity in Maidenhead! Help make giant daisies using willow and tissue paper and crazy twirly flowers by twisting and curling Zote foam. The workshop will run from 10.00am  – 3.00pm in Nicholsons Shopping Centre, you can drop in any time, there’s no need to book and it’s totally free of charge.

Berkshire Maestros Teddy Bears Picnic, Newbury Music Centre

Saturday 17 March 2018, 10.10 – 11.10am

Bring the family to an informal performance by Newbury Music Centre Mini Maestros aged 1-7 years and Newbury Music Centre Children’s Choir. Entry is free – and tickets are not required so you can just turn up on the day.

Yucky You Show at The Lookout, Bracknell

In this disgustingly entertaining live science show you can find out all sorts of things like:

  • why mucus is snot a bad thing
  • what happens to the food we eat
  • how long your hair can grow

Our shows run at the weekends and in Bracknell school holidays. Shows cost £1.95 per person, on top of your entry fee. You don’t need to pre-book tickets to our shows, just buy them from reception on the day. Show times are everyday at; 11.00am, midday, 2.00pm, 3:15pm.

Shows are suitable for Primary school age children. A good guide is whether a child can sit still for around 40 minutes, however our presenters are very good at tailoring the content to the show audience. Please note, all shows need at least 10 people to run.

Odeon Kids Club, Berkshire

Fancy snuggling up with the kiddies in the cinema with a tub of popcorn? It’s a great way to spend a cold morning, and the Odeon make it even easier with their Kids Club. Fantastic films at a fraction of the usual price.

Odds Farm 25th Birthday Celebrations, Wooburn Common, Bucks

17 – 19 March 2018

From 17 – 19 March come and celebrate 25 years of Odds Farm, stepping back in time with historical facts and stories, along with some special surprises too..

There will be traditional party games and special appearances from the Odds Farm cuddly mascot Marmalade in the Party Marquee.
