This Christmas head to Cliveden, one of our favourite places for a crisp winters walk, to take the kiddies on the Angel Academy Christmas Trail from 2 December 2017.
“Every time a bell rings an angel gets its wings.”… but getting your wings is no easy task. You’re invited to Angel Academy, the place where angels train. Learn how to fly, perfect your magic and complete tasks in order to graduate. A fun festive Christmas trail for families.
From December, Cliveden’s new Christmas trail offers little ones the opportunity to train at Angel Academy; a fun mission-style trail around the estate where children will complete tasks in order to graduate. They’ll learn how to ‘fly’, perfect their magic and complete other activities which, if successfully completed, they’ll be presented with their angel wings. The Trail costs £5.00 per child and is free for accompanying adults (usual admission to the estate applies). You can pick up your trail pack from the information centre by the main car park.
The Christmas trail runs weekends in December and from Wednesday 20 December to Saturday 23 December, from 11.00am to 2.30pm.
As well as the Trail, you can make a whole day out at Cliveden. From stunning Winter walks overlooking the Thames, to the story-book themed play area, large (and somewhat challenging, ahem) maze, and ponds – there really is something for everyone. And if you’re peckish you could try the Orangery Café which has a more extensive menu and outdoor seating for dry, sunny days. Or you’ll find refreshments at the Doll’s House Grab and Go, overlooking the Storybook play area, or the coffee shop by the main car park if you want to grab a hot drink and slice of cake.
