Meet Santa this Christmas in Berkshire – our top picks

Meet Santa this Christmas 2017 in Berkshire. What better way to add some sparkle to Christmas for your little ones than by booking to meet the big man himself. Santa’s a pretty busy man at this time of year, but has freed up some space in his diary to meet the lovely children of Berkshire. From fantastic Grottos to breakfast with Father Christmas, we’ve pulled together our list of the best places to meet Father Christmas in Berkshire this year.

Oaktree Garden Centre, Bracknell

Christmas at Oaktree Garden Centre near Bracknell is a very special time for all. Come and visit and see our amazing Christmas display, walk through the Christmas Wonderland, full of lit trees and Christmas scenes. Post your Christmas letter to Santa in our special post box and visit the Reindeer from 26th November till Christmas. There are various packages including grotto experience, breakfast and tea with Santa.

Meet Santa with a Jubilee Boat Trip, Newbury

We’ll be cruising to ‘Greenham Land’ to find Santa! Children enjoy a Christmas story, singing, and plenty of time with Santa during the boat trip which lasts approximately 1 hour. The ticket price of £9.00 includes a good quality present from Santa for children; and the choice of mulled wine or hot drink and a mince pie for adults. Advance booking is essential and tickets will not be available on the day. Please dress warmly for this trip and don’t forget your Christmas hat!

Cost £9 (no concessions) and trips are at 10.00am, 12 noon and 2.00pm on Saturday 16, Sunday 17, Thursday 21, Friday 22 and Saturday 23 December 2017.

Lego Christmas at Legoland Windsor Resort

2 & 3, 9 & 10, 16 – 24 December 2017

Lapland UK, Windsor Great Park, Ascot

Christmas Roller Skating and Tea with Santa, Bucklebury Farm

Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Mondays between 1 – 23 December 2017

A fantastic festive evening including the chance to skate and enjoy tea with Santa. Suitable for children aged approximately 4 -10 years. £20 per child and one accompanying adult goes free. Activities include: Festive face painting on arrival for all children, feed the donkeys in the festive farm yard lit with sparkling fairy lights, create your own Christmas tree decoration in our creative craft yurt, get your (roller) skates on to join Santa on the rink, decorate ginger bread over hot chocolate with Mrs Claus, afternoon tea with Santa (menu includes pizza, sandwiches and cake, and wrap up for carol singing and a ride home on the ‘polar express’.

A morning with Father Christmas, Cobs Play Barn, Hungerford

Come to Cobs Play Barn on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 December 2017 to spend a morning with Father Christmas. We have four sitting times available; 9.00am, 10.15am, 11.30am and 12.45pm. After enjoying some delicious grub and a Christmas snack, your little ones will have the chance to burn off all that extra energy in our Play Barn before heading to the grotto to meet Father Christmas. They will be able to share with him their Christmas wishes and choose an early gift from his stocking! There are 4 different ticket options available and they include the following:

Children’s Ticket £11.95 : Sausage or bacon butty, gingerbread man, hot chocolate or cordial, a meet with Father Christmas and a gift.

Children’s Mini Ticket £9.95:  Pastry or brioche, gingerbread man, hot chocolate or cordial, a meet with Father Christmas and a gift.

Adult Ticket £6.95: Sausage or bacon butty and a hot drink.

Come and experience the true magic of Christmas at Henry Street Garden Centre from 25 November – 11 December 2017! It wouldn’t be Christmas without a visit to Santa’s Grotto and where better to do it than at Henry Street Garden Centre! Add to the magic and combine a visit to Santa’s Secret Hideaway with a delightful breakfast with Santa.

Breakfast or Tea with Father Christmas – Wyevale Garden Centre

From 18 November – 24 December, Christmas will be descending on Wyevale Garden Centres across Berkshire. Bring your little ones along and enjoy a delicious, freshly-prepared breakfast or tea! The whole family meets Santa, children decorate a festive biscuit and then choose their very own present to take home. Available in Thatcham, Hungerford, Wokingham, Winnersh, Binfield, Reading, Windsor and Hare Hatch. For more information click here.

A magical Christmas experience, 4 Kingdoms Adventure Park, Newbury

Follow our elves through a Magical Christmas trail and enjoy a story telling journey full of interactive scenes, characters and activities. It’s a 2 hour journey full of stories and surprises through our Christmas experience ending up with Santa and a gift for your child. Tickets are available from 18 November – 24 December.

Squires Garden Centre, Windsor

Santa is coming to town! Come and greet him as he makes his grand arrival at 10am on Saturday 25 November at Squire’s Windsor. Santa will be arriving in style in Lightning McQueen from Cars (yes, really!), and will greet his excited audience before opening his free festive grotto where he will be handing out presents.

South Hill Park Father Christmas’ Grotto, Bracknell

From 8 – 24 December, come and see Father Christmas in his comfy and cosy Grotto at South Hill Park. You can write him a letter in the Elves’ post office, make Christmas crafts with the Elves and, of course, meet Father Christmas himself during your very own personalised visit. Are you on his good list? You’ll get a present if you are. This unique Grotto experience will leave you feeling warm and festive, and is the perfect addition to a day at South Hill Park.

Stubbings Nursery, Maidenhead

Come along for breakfast at Stubbings Café on 22, 23 or 24 December 2017 to meet the extraordinary Father Christmas. At 8.30am we will be offering a breakfast for families and the opportunity to meet with Santa, and receive a festive gift. Tickets will include a Stubbings Full English Breakfast (or Child Mini Full English Breakfast), along with some cut fruit. A regular hot drink will also be included for the adults, along with a carton of juice for the children. Santa will walk between tables meeting the children and hand out a festive gift to ticket holders aged 2 to 12 years old. Santa will then read a Christmas story to all the children, after which each child will receive an ‘I met Santa’ certificate.

The Magical World of Father Christmas, Wellington Country Park, Odiham **NOW SOLD OUT**

Join us this Christmas at Wellington Country Park and take a journey through ‘the Magical World of Father Christmas’ and meet the elves as they prepare for the big day! Wander through the Christmas village and visit the sorting office. Visit the elves at the workshop and head to the secret room to make your very own soft toy to take home with you. Children will meet Father Christmas in a personalised private meet and greet with your family. All participating children will receive a present from Father Christmas himself! Finally head in and warm up in the Candy Cane Café and join Treacle in her cookie decoration class, while the adults relax with a winter warming hot drink and sweet treat. All participating children will also receive a winter warming hot drink. Day bookings available on the 16, 17, 21, 22 & 23 December, with experiences available from 10:00am – 4:05pm. Evening bookings available on the 19 & 20 December, with experiences available from 3:25pm – 6:25pm.
