Apples make cider. They taste great with a pork roast dinner. They make the best kind of crumble. They can be bobbed. They’re the forbidden fruit. Newton got hit on the head by one. Steve Jobs. The Big Apple. The toffee apple. Enough said. Apples are pretty great. And from Saturday 7 to Sunday 8 October 11.00am – 3.00pm, Cliveden will be celebrating this epic fruit with the Apple Weekend.
Bring the family along for a chance to taste some of Cliveden’s apples, and try out some local cider. You can also take part in a range of apple themed activities, including the Round Garden explorer sheet designed for little ones.
This promises to be a fun weekend for adults and children alike, and it’s a free event (normal admission to Cliveden applies unless you have your National Trust Membership, in which case it’s totally free).
