Tummies restaurant first opened it’s doors back in 1988 and since then has been a favourite eatery, not just in Slough, but in the surrounding areas too. And it’s well deserved. As well as being a fantastic restaurant and bar (it’s our favourite brunch meet up), it’s also a cookery school, chef’s table and even a bespoke events team. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, the menu is varied and the food hits the spot.
Children are always made to feel welcome at Tummies. The kiddie’s menu has plenty of yummy choices, and the portion sizes are pretty impressive! You’ll find options like sausage & mash, pan fried chicken breast and chips, hickory smoked half rack of ribs, carbonara and bolognaise. All for a tidy £5.00 a meal. On Sundays children can enjoy a roast of their own for half price, £5.00 gets a 3 course feast, or £4.00 for 2 courses.
And while you’re waiting for your meal the kiddies can channel their inner Picasso and attempt to get their masterpiece a place on the wall (or ceiling) of fame. Have a look around you in the restaurant, all over the walls and ceiling you’ll see a showcase of some of the best pieces of art done by customers over the years. It’s a really lovely touch and helps show the uniqueness of Tummies.
There are baby changing facilities for very small visitors and you’ll find a private car park around the back of the building for customers.
